Terms and Conditions
1. Scope of Service
The Graze Haus provides a mobile charcuterie cart for events, including:
• Setup of the cart and display prior to the event.
• Service by two staff members for the agreed hire period.
• Pack down and removal of the cart and equipment.
Services do not include waste removal, venue furniture, or alcohol service (unless specifically agreed).

2. Booking & Payments
• A non-refundable deposit (amount specified at booking) is required to secure your date.
• The remaining balance must be paid no later than 14 days before the event.
• Late payments will incur a 10% per day fee.
• Bookings are not confirmed until a deposit has been received.

3. Cancellations & Refunds
• Cancellations made 4+ weeks before the event: full refund (deposit excluded).
• Cancellations made within 7 days of the event: no refund.
• Rescheduling requests must be made at least 4 weeks prior to the event and are subject to availability.
• If The Graze Haus must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be issued.

4. Service Duration
• Hire includes 1 hour setup, the agreed service window (usually 2 hours), and 1 hour pack down.
• Overtime will incur an additional fee of $40per 30 minutes.
• If service is delayed due to the Client or guests, overtime fees may apply.

5. Client Responsibilities
• Provide a safe, accessible, and clean area for cart setup.
• Confirm that the venue permits external food vendors.
• Ensure access for parking/unloading of the mobile cart.
• Provide access to electricity/water if required (to be confirmed at booking).
• The Client is responsible for guest conduct during the event.

6. Equipment & Cart
• All serving items, boards, and the cart remain property of The Graze Haus.
• Any damage, loss, or theft caused by guests or the venue will incur a replacement fee.
• The Client must ensure safe storage and return of any rental items within 2 days (if not collected at pack down).

7. Food Safety & Liability
• The Graze Haus guarantees proper preparation, handling, and storage of food prior to and during service.
• Once food is served or left on display, the Client assumes full responsibility for safe storage and handling.
• The Graze Haus accepts no liability for foodborne illness resulting from improper storage, guest handling, or consumption after the agreed service period.

8. Allergy Disclaimer
• Food may contain or come into contact with allergens such as nuts, dairy, gluten, and shellfish.
• The Client is responsible for advising guests of potential allergens.
• The Graze Haus is not liable for allergic reactions.

9. Alcohol & Licensing
• The Graze Haus does not provide or serve alcohol unless licensed arrangements are agreed in writing.
• If alcohol is provided by the Client, the Client assumes full responsibility for service and consumption.

10. Damage & Indemnity
• The Graze Haus accepts no responsibility for injuries, damages, or losses incurred at the event.
• The Client agrees to indemnify and hold The Graze Haus harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from the event.

11. Force Majeure (Unforeseen Circumstances)
• If an event cannot proceed due to natural disasters, severe weather, pandemics, government restrictions, or other factors beyond our control, we will work with the Client to:
• Reschedule to a new date, or
• Provide a partial refund minus any expenses already incurred.

12. Dispute Resolution
• Both parties agree to attempt mediation before taking legal action.
• Any legal disputes will be handled under the jurisdiction of the state where The Graze Haus is registered.
